American Red Cross (ARC) lifeguard and lifeguard instructor (LGI) Robert Campbell, lifeguard Jennifer Oldham (red swimsuit) and lifeguard / LGI / EMT Christine Schuhe (blue swim cap) demonstrated the mistakes at the top of the first page. ARC lifeguard / LGI Ernesto Moreno (victim) and lifeguard John Brunk (rescuer) demonstrated the mistake with a head chin. ARC lifeguard Cecilia Lee (victim), lifeguard / LGI Tertia Cole (on deck), joined Robert, Ernie and John to demonstrate a large group backboarding. In #15, Tertia strapped in victim Minh Nguyen (lifeguard) with Ernesto at the head. In #16, Lifeguard Valerie Garcia and lifeguard / EMT Josh Lubitz rescued lifeguard / LGI Alan Ahlstrand. In #17 Ernesto was strapped in by lifeguard / Water Safety Instructor Shahin Zonoobi with Robert at the head and in #18 Shahin swam under the board. In #19, 20 and 21 Alan and Robert backboard ARC Lifeguard, Seaman Recruit Sean Downey (Coast Guard Port Security). In #22 through 29, ARC Lifeguard / LGI George Cullison (at the head in #22) and lifeguard Lee Merschon (strapping in #22) join Alan.
