Look at the campus map for parking lot A1, right next to /north of the Registration and Student Services building. You can park free, without a permit, for no more than 30 minutes, in designated spaces.

Admissions and Records help desks are at the letter A on the map. (You can apply to De Anza College, register for classes and pay fees online without coming on campus. http://www.deanza.fhda.edu/admissions/ )
B is the Assessment Center https://www.deanza.edu/assessment/.
The bookstore is at letter C on the first floor map, or you can find most texts, including rentals, at http://books.deanza.edu/home.aspx Some classes have free downloadable textbooks, such as HLTH57A, the Red Cross first aid certification class, and various swim classes including Novice Swim FAQs and they have an ICON at the listing for them in the schedule of classes:
When the bookstore is buying used textbooks from students they sometimes have a table in the main hall of the first floor of the building.

F on the first floor denotes the Outreach Office and Campus Cupboard / Food Pantry in Room 127 of the Registration & Student Services (RSS) building.
Second floor (up stairs or use the elevator, a small box with an X at about the center of the main hallway on the map) offices in the De Anza College Registration & Student Services (RSS) building include:

P on the second floor denotes the Psychological Services office upstairs in the Registration & Student Services building in RSS 258.
Veterans’ Services previously was in this building, but are now in SEM 3 (Seminar 3), the upper left hand (north-western) purple building at the west side of the main campus map at: at:

There is a defibrillator (AED, Automated External Defibrillator), the white box in about the center of photo on the left below, just outside the building near the letter B on the above first floor map. It could be used, by anyone trained in how to use it, to help someone who has a massive heart attack and their heart stops. Please note that when someone opens the door to the box on the wall a loud alarm goes off that does not stop when the door is shut.
